What authors confirm when they submit, and what happens if those confirmations are broken.
Authors accept each of these on the submission form. The acceptance is recorded with the date.
This manuscript is our original work. It has not been published before and is not under consideration by any other journal or publisher.
We have checked the manuscript for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. All text, data, figures and ideas taken from other sources, including our own earlier work, are properly cited or quoted. We understand the journal may screen submissions with similarity-detection software and may reject, or later retract, a manuscript found to be plagiarised.
We own the copyright to this manuscript, or hold written permission for all third-party material in it (figures, tables, images, long quotations). We grant edMercel Academic Publishing Group the right to publish, distribute and archive the article, and we confirm that publication will not infringe any copyright or other right.
All listed authors made a substantial contribution, have read and approved the final manuscript, and agree to its submission. No person who qualifies as an author has been left out.
The research was carried out ethically. The data are genuine and have not been fabricated or falsified. Required approvals and consents were obtained where people or animals were involved.
We treat the following as plagiarism: copying text, data, figures or ideas without credit; close paraphrasing without citation; and reusing substantial parts of your own published work without citing it (self-plagiarism).
Submissions may be screened with similarity-detection software. A similarity report is a tool for editors, not a verdict: quotations, references and standard methods text are taken into account. Reviewers can flag originality concerns, and editors investigate before acting.
Consequences: the paper may be rejected, the authors' institutions may be informed, and a published paper may be retracted with a public notice.
Authors keep ownership of their work. By submitting, authors confirm they hold the rights to it and grant edMercel Academic Publishing Group the right to publish, distribute and archive the article. The conditions under which readers may reuse an article are stated on its page.
If your paper includes figures, tables, images or long quotations from other sources, you must obtain written permission and credit the source. Keep the permissions: the editorial office may ask for them.
AI tools cannot be authors. State on the submission form whether AI tools were used and how. Authors are responsible for accuracy, citations and originality of everything in the manuscript.
A paper must not be under consideration elsewhere while it is under review with us. If a paper is withdrawn, tell the editorial office through the message box on the paper's page.
Write to the editorial office on the contact page before you submit.
